Domaine A Pinot noir 2019 - Stelvin
Deep crimson in the glass, the nose opens with cherry coulis, cinnamon, liquorice and quince paste, with subtle notes of leather and eucalypt emerging with time. The palate is vibrant and fruit-driven, showing bright red cherry, crunchy acidity and layers of mulberry jam, strawberry coulis, darker black fruits and hints of Christmas pudding spice. Fresher and brighter than its cork counterpart, it carries a slightly longer finish and a firm tannin structure that benefits from decanting to reveal further depth. An excellent partner for robust dishes, and a rewarding bottle for cellar enthusiasts.
